Not many photographs this month unfortunately - they will soon be all visible on the Berwick-on-Tweed page I'm currently working on, or they are on the farm pages.
But I did stop off at Carole's, near Newcastleton, to see her and her family on my way around the UK, and encountered the start of a snowstorm, as you can see.
The weather didn't look at all appealing, and I had to be making my way over to Hexham to pick up Liz and take her to Whitehaven. My route to Hexham lay over the top, so I had no interest in hanging around while the weather made the passage any more difficult.
After all, you all know the theory of the ice bridge.
One difficulty I had though was to extricate His Nibs from a crowd of adoring admirers, as you can see. Strawberry Moose is getting quite a following these days, and it's getting harder and harder to tear him away from his fans.
But come along Strawberry, old son, we need to be making tracks.
